Hello, curious human!

I hope you are doing well and have had a nice week so far. It’s getting closer and closer to spooky season, so I am absolutely thrilled. I mean…

HOW CUTE IS THIS?!

Aside from Halloween being only 28 days away, I have some other good news! I’ve updated some super awesome benefits to my paid substack subscription option. You now get:

  1. Three articles/walkthroughs and podcast episodes a month. I’ve changed up some of the newest paid articles to be a little shorter and more to the point, which means more actionable. I’ve also started to explore some newer methods and approaches (something called Possibility Sprints coming up), as well as more advanced methodologies (think 301, 401). I’m really excited to evolve this content to be even more helpful.

  2. Access to now over 40 templates, some of which I’ve never shared before, and I am continuously adding to this list, including some of the more complex topics from above.

  3. The searchable database with over 350 resources, tagged and curated. I’m also going to be adding more resources to this from valid and reliable places in the coming months.

  4. These two link round-ups per month. I will be brainstorming a way to make these link round-up resources more easily findable. They might go in the Notion database or a separate area — TBD!

  5. Access to my user research skill webinar bundle, where you can learn to up-level things like recruitment and asking open-ended questions.

  6. Quarterly calls or workshops where we discuss or work on things like resumes, case studies, whiteboard challenges, setting OKRs, etc.

All that for £12/month or £132/year. If you’re interested:

I’m headed to DC tomorrow for another conference, so I will be using my flying time to work on some of this new content!

Now to our bi-weekly resources!

Research That Scales (Book) by Kate Towsey

Kate Towsey’s book is a game-changer for researchers who are looking to take their work to the next level by scaling their research efforts. It’s packed with practical advice on how to handle larger projects without feeling overwhelmed, which is something I know many researchers struggle with. This book is one of those resources that help bridge the gap between being a solo researcher and running research at scale. Whether you’re just starting to work with bigger teams or trying to influence product strategy across an organization, this book has you covered with clear, actionable steps.
